The Easter season is a time for all of us to give thanks to God for the many gifts He has bestowed upon us in Christ.
Here at our Parish, we have many blessings for which to be thankful. In a special way, I want to take this opportunity to give thanks for all the hard work and dedication that so many parishioners showed in making our 2017 Lenten Fish Fry a success. Once again, a large number of meals were served throughout the Lenten season. As is the case each year, the 2017 Fish Fry certainly provided a number of challenges and obstacles to overcome. In truth, planning for the Fish Fry began many months prior to the event, so that we might offer our patrons the best quality food at reasonable prices. Once again, Carol and Marty Yonkof led the Fish Fry with hard-work, incredible patience, and dedication. Few people really know or appreciate just how much work they put into this event each year. But, of course, the success of the Fish Fry can also be traced to the wonderful volunteers who worked week in and week out. Therefore, I want to say THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VOLUNTEERED AT THIS YEARS FISH FRY. Honestly, I never cease to be amazed by the generosity of the people of this Parish. The word continues to spread that St. Teresa of Avila is a wonderful and blessed faith community.
